Material Characteristics

Solar panels contain mainly glass, aluminum and plastic, which are highly recyclable. Glass provides transparency and protection, aluminum provides strength, and plastic encapsulates and protects the internal components. These materials come from panels used in residential, commercial or industrial installations.

Process Description

We start with the reception and classification of the used panels, where they are evaluated according to their condition and type. Then, we proceed to disassembly to carefully separate glass, aluminum and plastic. Subsequently, the materials undergo shredding and separation to facilitate their processing. Next, we carry out processing and refining to remove impurities and prepare the materials for reuse. Finally, the recycled materials are used in the manufacture of new products or even in the production of solar panels, thus completing a sustainable life cycle for these materials.
